Day 90: Irish Wolfhound
Pronounced Cú Faoil in Gaelic.
Contrary to popular belief, the tallest breed are NOT Great Danes, they’re Irish Wolfhounds!
They an extremely easy going and often quiet by nature. They bond with their family but can be standoffish to strangers.
The average life span is 7 years but usually between 6 and 10 years.
Perhaps brought to Ireland as far back as 7000 BC
